IAFE Fun, Friends and Futures!

I had a great time at the International Association of Fairs and Expositions and look forward to what my year has in store as a result!  For those of you who attended, I hope you took advantage of your free opportunity to try out a scavenger hunt by text so you can see what your patrons can go through if this awesome event takes place at your Fair!  There are several other interactive ways to get your patrons to participate, the Hunts have just become the most popular way to entice participants to view your entire fairgrounds while they are there!  For those of you who have already contacted me, I look forward to working with you next year.  If you would like feedback directly from a Fair before contacting me, feel free to contact the Ventura County Fair, Weber County Fair or any other Fair on my website.

I also moderated a great roundtable discussion on Social Media.  We discussed several positive and negative results to be cautious of when incorporating social media including Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, Blogging, E-Blasts, Websites, Account Types, Texting and more.  Ask anyone who attends my seminars what these goofy props stand for, in the picture above...or don't miss out on the next one!

It was great to have fun, see some friends and even create another exciting piece to the future of Texting at Fairs!  Those of you who participated in the Scavenger Hunt by Text or at least knew it was going on...can see in the picture above that I sponsored those hunts so that everybody would at least have the opportunity to try it out for themselves.  One of the fears I so often encounter is that people don't trust that it works because they don't get to see it in their hands...now you have!  Those of you who wandered the Trade Show and checked out texting, most likely bumped into Scavenger and their great new Scavenger Hunt by Text product/service.  I was happy to begin joining efforts with Scavenger before the IAFE Convention even began!  Many of you may also know that I have been working side by side with Ntelligent Systems for the last year, so now businesses can be assured that no matter which of these three businesses they work with will result in a great Future for their Fair since we're all working together and only want the best for all of our clients!  Please feel free to contact Plascencia Projects, Scavenger or Ntelligent Systems with your Texting needs/wants/desires/unknowns and we'll team up to find the best campaign possible for your Fair in 2010 and beyond!
